1. What is a jpg file?
JPG files are a common file format for digital photos and other digital graphics. The images you purchase and download from 5ifthpic.com are compressed JPG files. This means the files are smaller and allows for a faster download.

2. What is a PSD File?
A file with the PSD file extension is an Adobe Photoshop Document file. The easiest way to open a PSD file is to double-click on it and let your PC decide which default application should open the file. If no program opens the PSD file then you probably don't have an application installed that can view and/or edit PSD files.

3. What does royalty-free mean?
A royalty free license allows you to use an image, vector or jpg without restrictions on the time or number of uses, or the number of prints.

5. What sizes do your photos come in?
Our images come in Small, Medium, Large, and XLarge. Each image shows size information.

6. Does the image I download have a watermark?
No. Images you purchased will not be watermarked.

7. What is your refund policy?
Due to the nature of the media, electronically transmitted images cannot be "returned" under any circumstances. If you are not satisfied with the quality of the image you download, you may request a replacement image by emailing us but unfortunately we cannot provide refunds.
 
All files that are replaced must be deleted and never used. Use of an image that has been replaced or refunded will constitute copyright violation.

8. Can I claim copyright to images I buy and modify?
You may modify an image and use it; however, you may not claim copyright to that image. Shutterstock and/or its suppliers continue to own all images, whether or not they have been modified.

9. Can I use images I buy in work-for-hire?
Yes. You can use any image from 5ifthpic in your customer/client project. Your client must understand that they do not own and or have the rights to sell this/ these images.

 

10. How can I use images I purchase from 5ifthpic?
You may use images in or on

- Multimedia presentations
- Displays for trade shows
- Billboards/banners
- Packaging/labels
- Business letterhead
- Brochures
- Business cards
- Office decor
- Restaurant menu
- Public areas

11. Can I use 5ifthpic images in an online gallery?
No. You may not use our images in any online gallery.

12. Can I sell images I download from 5ifthpic?
You may not sell the images that you download from 5ifthpic.

13. Can I sell templates that include images from 5ifthpic?
No. You cannot sell templates using our images.

14. What size image do I need for my project?
These guidelines are an approximation of print sizes relative to file size in megabytes. The file sizes will vary slightly from image to image depending on the source.

15.  What am I actually purchasing?
When you make a purchase you are purchasing the right (license) to use the image according to the terms of the License Agreement. 5ifthpic and it's contributors still retain the copyright.

16. What file formats are available for image licensing?
Photos are in JPG's format to save on download time and file sizes. EPS or AI for vectors files. If you would like the image in another format please contact us and let us know.

17. Can I sell photos to 5ifthpic?
